Saltz Mongeluzzi Brings on 3 Attys from Shuttering Boni Zack

Joshua Snyder, John E. Sindoni and Benjamin J. Eichel will join Saltz Mongeluzzi as partners in the Horsham, Pennsylvania, office, effective Thursday, March 5.

Saltz Mongeluzzi Bendesky is growing its class action team with three attorneys who will be moving their practices from Boni Zack & Snyder LLC to Saltz Mongeluzzi’s office in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Joshua Snyder, John E. Sindoni and Benjamin J. Eichel will join Saltz Mongeluzzi as partners in the Horsham, Pennsylvania, office, effective Thursday, the firm announced Wednesday. Patrick Howard, co-chair of Saltz Mongeluzzi’s class action group, told Law360 Pulse in an interview Wednesday that the arrival of Snyder and his team comes at a perfect time for the practice.

“We have a lot of work on our plate and have been getting slammed,” Howard said. “If you have the opportunity to trade for Giannis [Antetokounmpo], you take it,” referring to the NBA player.

Howard and his class action group co-chair Simon Paris are well familiar with Snyder, Sindoni and Eichel’s talents and how they fit within Saltz Mongeluzzi’s culture. The group has collaborated on several litigation matters over the years and know how to work together, Howard said.

“Simon and I came to Saltz Mongeluzzi in 2007 and soon started working with Josh on some cases,” Howard said. “We became really comfortable working together over time. Simon and I have been very fortunate with Saltz Mongeluzzi and have been getting a lot of work on a national level. Having Josh’s team on board will help us grow and take on bigger challenges. We know and respect them, and we enjoy working with them.”

Howard told Law360 Pulse that Snyder, Sindoni and Eichel will focus their practices on matters in the class action group, primarily focused on nonpersonal injury related litigation.

“This has been a seamless transition,” Howard said. “We don’t have to learn how to work together, we already know how we each like to go about things. Simon and I run a collaborative practice group. It is a team mentality; we don’t silo ourselves off from each other.”

Snyder said in a prepared statement that it has been his privilege to work with Howard and Paris on cases for nearly 20 years.

“Our practices have a great deal of overlap, and bringing our teams together allows us to build on that foundation in a meaningful way for clients,” Snyder said. “As complex cases continue to grow in scale and sophistication, aligning now allows us to meet that demand with greater resources and national reach.”

With Snyder, Sindoni and Eichel set to leave Boni Zack, the remaining attorneys listed on their former firm’s website include firm co-founder Michael J. Boni and counsel Julie Fuchs.

Boni told Law360 Pulse in a statement Wednesday afternoon that Boni Zack will be “terminated,” and he will launch his own practice, Boni Law Firm LLC, in the next few weeks, with Fuchs joining him.
