Lily Winter is a dedicated advocate who uses the law with compassion and conviction to help people navigate the hardest moments of their lives. She represents individuals and families in complex products liability and catastrophic injury cases. Lily first joined Saltz Mongeluzzi Bendesky as a law clerk during law school. Since then, she has contributed to high-stakes cases, helping to secure multimillion-dollar verdicts and appellate victories for her clients.
A proud graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law, Lily distinguished herself as a member of the school’s National Trial Team and earned a Certificate in Trial Advocacy and Litigation. She led her team to victory in the 2024 Capitol City Challenge and competed in several of the nation’s premier trial advocacy tournaments. Lily received the prestigious International Academy of Trial Lawyers’ Prize, as well as the Andrew L. Stern Trial Advocacy Scholarship, recognizing her exceptional skill and dedication to courtroom advocacy.
Practice Areas
While at Temple, Lily also served as a student advocate in the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, where she represented clients before the IRS and state taxing authorities on issues involving audits, collections, and taxpayer rights. In 2023, she served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Mitchell J. Danziger in the New York Supreme Court, Bronx County. In this role, she analyzed civil litigation matters involving the City of New York, gaining invaluable insight into courtroom procedure, and developing a nuanced approach to effective legal advocacy.
Lily graduated magna cum laude from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a concentration in Law and Justice. She competed in the Invitational Moot Court competition, securing her position as semifinalist and sparking her passion for oral advocacy and litigation. Her early experiences working in local government and community leadership inspired her advocacy, and Lily remains committed to pursuing justice for those without a voice.
