Javier Puga is a personal injury attorney with a passion for helping injured people seek the justice they deserve. His practice focuses on construction accidents, dangerous product defects, and negligent security matters in Philadelphia and New Jersey. He works tirelessly to expose the blatant disregard for safety at the center of these devastating and preventable accidents.

Prior to SMB, Javier exclusively handled OHSA matters against the Department of Labor.  Javier gained invaluable experience working closely with OSHA attorneys and investigators on catastrophic incidents involving forklift accidents, industrial explosions, and dangerous machinery.  Javier’s experience on the frontline of workplace accidents provides his clients a unique advantage in their fight for justice.

Javier received his law degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law. He was the Managing Editor for the Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice and a Student Tax Attorney at the School of Law’s Tax Clinic, representing low-income individuals throughout Virginia. He attended Emory University for his undergraduate degree where he was a member of Men’s Varsity Soccer Team.

Javier is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, and an alumni member of the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group.

He was born and raised in the Philadelphia area and spends his spare time playing soccer or down the shore with his family.
