Ryan M. Cohen

Partner

Ryan is a partner on the Firm’s motor vehicle accident and premises liability team. His cases involve motor vehicle accidents, commercial trucking accidents, pedestrian accidents, serious injuries due to defects on commercial property and/or residential property, dog bites, and negligence of individuals and businesses who serve alcohol (Dram Shop claims).

Clients have one opportunity to be compensated for their injuries and choosing the right lawyer is the most crucial decision a client makes. During his nearly 20 years of practice, Ryan has fiercely represented hundreds of clients who have suffered serious, catastrophic, and permanent injuries, securing millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts. Having served as counsel for a large international insurance company, Ryan brings a unique perspective to his cases – he is intimately familiar with how defendants and insurance companies think.

Ryan graduated magna cum laude from Dickinson College, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. After college, he earned his J.D. from The Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and his M.B.A. from The Temple University Richard J. Fox School of Business and Management. While in law school, Ryan received accolades for his legal writing, completed Temple’s advanced trial advocacy program, and served as a judicial clerk in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia.

Outside of the office, Ryan is an avid fan of Philadelphia’s sports teams. He also recently became a supporter and advocate of the Philadelphia Youth Basketball Association, a community-based project which brings education and life skills to Philadelphia’s underserved youth through the game of basketball.
