Mariano is a dedicated trial attorney who relentlessly advocates for individuals and families affected by catastrophic injuries or wrongful death. Mariano’s practice primarily focuses on representing victims of construction site and workplace accidents, product defects and malfunctions, commercial trucking and motor vehicle accidents, and serious injuries due to defects or dangers on commercial and residential properties. He has assisted in the recovery of tens of millions of dollars for clients. His commitment to justice is driven by a deep understanding of how accidents can devastate lives, a perspective shaped by his upbringing in a community of hardworking, blue-collar individuals.
Born in Rosario, Argentina, and having immigrated to the United States, Mariano’s values of resilience, empathy, and service were ingrained early by his family and local community. He witnessed firsthand how workplace accidents can uproot families, inspiring him to fight for those most in need.
Mariano attended Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate and excelled in leadership roles as President of the Latin American Law Student Association and Class Representative of the Student Bar Association. During law school, Mariano had the distinct privilege of serving as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mark A. Kearney of the United States Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Judge Kearney’s mentorship played a pivotal role in shaping and refining Mariano’s legal writing, development of legal theories and themes, persuasive storytelling, and courtroom etiquette, profoundly influencing his professional development in these essential aspects of legal practice. His talent for crafting compelling legal arguments was recognized with the prestigious CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Litigation Drafting.
Mariano’s passion for helping others inspired him to serve as a pro-bono intern for Philadelphia Legal Assistance and HIAS Pennsylvania, providing legal services to low-income individuals and immigrants.
Prior to stepping foot into the legal profession, Mariano garnered recognition as both a scholar and an accomplished student-athlete. His work ethic earned him a full scholarship to Holy Family University, where he rose to captain the Men’s Soccer program, and ultimately graduated summa cum laude, exemplifying excellence both on and off the field. His lifetime passion for soccer, rooted deeply in his Argentine heritage, instilled in him the values of leadership, teamwork, and dedication. These qualities now define his approach in adeptly representing clients in the most distinctive and complex cases.
Mariano’s native language is Spanish, a skill he relies on daily in communicating with clients. He was raised in Northeast Philadelphia, and attended Philadelphia Public Schools, Abington Friends School, and Roman Catholic High School. He is passionate about his active involvement in his local community through pro-bono services and coaching youth soccer. Mariano lives with his wife, Sasha, a dedicated dentist, and their two young children.
