RV Blows Tire, Crashes into Tractor-Trailer, Kills 5 People in Pennsylvania
On Wednesday, August 10, 2023, at around 9 p.m., a recreational vehicle collided head-on with a double tractor-trailer just outside Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, on Northbound Interstate 81. The recreational vehicle’s tire blew, causing the RV to cross over a grassy median and strike a double tractor-trailer head. Both vehicles exploded in flames tragically killing four people in the RV and the driver of the tractor-trailer.
It is unknown at this time why the RV’s tire blew.
