According to news reports, twenty-two people were injured after a crane accident in Austin, Texas around 9:30 this morning. Two cranes collided at a construction site in the Mueller community of northeast Austin. A spokesman for the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services reported that sixteen victims were transported to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. He described the accident as a crane v. crane construction site incident. The incident remains under investigation.
