Amtrak Train Strikes, Kills Three in Bucks County, PA

Three family members were struck and killed by an Amtrak Northeast Regional Train en route to Philadelphia.

On April 3, 2025, a tragic incident occurred in Bristol, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where an Amtrak train traveling from Boston to Richmond, Virginia, struck and killed three individuals who were on the tracks around 6 PM. According to an Amtrak spokesperson, none of the 236 passengers or crew members aboard the train were injured.

This was the second fatal incident involving an Amtrak train in Bucks County within two days. The previous day, another individual was fatally struck near the Cornwells Heights Station in Bensalem.
