SMB Attorneys Lead Class Action Case Against SEPTA
SMB lawyers are leading a class action case against SEPTA for a data breach that occurred in August 2020.
The breach resulted in the disclosure of personal information, including names and social security numbers, of SEPTA’s employees. In addition, the breach exposed the personal health records of those who have pursued injury claims against SEPTA. This week a judge in Philadelphia County ruled that the case can proceed into discovery.
If you believe you were victimized by SEPTA’s data breach and would like to discuss, please contact SMB Partner, Patrick Howard at phoward@smbb.com or 215-575-3895.
