Statement of Robert J. Mongeluzzi Following Denial of Early Parole to Wife Killer Rafael Robb

Norristown, PA (May 16, 2016) – Attorney Robert J. Mongeluzzi, of Saltz, Mongeluzzi & Bendeksy, P.C., is lauding the just announced ruling of the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole (PBPP) denying early parole to Rafael Robb, who confessed to fatally bludgeoning his wife, Ellen Gregory, in 2006 as she was wrapping holiday presents in the couple’s Montgomery County home. Mr. Mongeluzzi, who successfully obtained a record $124.4 million damages award against Robb, had also testified against Robb’s bid for early release.

“Rafael Robb got what he deserved once again,” stated Mr. Mongeluzzi. “We demonstrated at his civil trial and then before the parole board that he is a cold-blooded killer who has shown no remorse for his crimes and deserves no mercy.” Mr. Mongeluzzi noted that he and his legal team continue to vigorously identify and intend to seize Robb’s assets to satisfy the jury’s award on behalf of Ellen Gregory’s college-age daughter.
