The Legends of Labor Hall of Fame honors and recognizes those who have made an indelible mark on unions, the community, and the labor movement.
Saltz Mongeluzzi Bendesky is proud to announce that founding partners Robert Mongeluzzi and Larry Bendesky will be inducted into the 2024 Legends of Labor Hall of Fame as “Friends of Labor.”
Launched in 2022 and initiated by the Pro-Labor Broadcast Media, PhillyLabor.com, and the Philadelphia area union community, the Legends of Labor Hall of Fame was established to honor and recognize those who have made an indelible mark on unions, the community, and the labor movement.
Bob Mongeluzzi is universally regarded as the best construction accident attorney in the world. He has been called “the King of construction accidents,” “a name that generates fear in the construction industry,” and “the top lawyer in the [construction accident] field.” He and SMB have more than 500 verdicts or settlements of $1 million or more in construction accidents and have secured multimillion-dollar recoveries for carpenters, ironworkers, electricians, glaziers, bricklayers, cement masons, plumbers, pipefitters, millwrights, painters, pile drivers, steelworkers, laborers, roofers, rodsetters, sprinkler fitters, sheet metal workers, teamsters, and operating engineers. His personal history fuels Bob’s passion for representing, protecting, and fighting for injured workers and their families. His great grandfather was killed in a workplace accident and his grandfather was seriously injured in one.
Larry Bendesky is one of Pennsylvania’s most respected and accomplished trial lawyers. His cases have focused primarily on construction accidents and product liability claims, but his experience spans a wide range of incidents, including building collapses, elevator and escalator failures, industrial equipment design defects, power tool defects, roadway design cases, motor vehicle accidents, and consumer product defects. Over his 30-year legal career, Larry has brought his relentless, detail-oriented approach to his cases and has made a significant difference in the lives of thousands of clients.
