Multiple Dead After Early Morning House Fire

Philadelphia woke up this morning to news of a horrific house fire in the Fairmount section of the city. Initial reports suggest 13 people, seven of which were children, died in the blaze.

The investigation is in its early stages and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Many times, the cause of a residential can be something as simple as faulty wiring or a poorly manufactured product. Often, the fires are avoidable.
