PHILADELPHIA, PA. (December 3, 2008) – Keith Mecca, Esq., former general manager of the Philadelphia Barrage professional lacrosse team, is now Of Counsel to Saltz Mongeluzzi & Bendesky, P.c. Mecca brings to the Firm and its clients a richly diverse background in numerous areas of the law and victim’s rights as well as personal financial services and contract negotiations.

He is a 2001 graduate of Villanova University School of Law, where he was a member of the Villanova Sports & Entertainment Law Journal. Prior to entering private practice, Mecca served internships in the District Attorney’s Office of Montgomery County and in the chambers of Vincent A. Cirillo, former President Judge of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
Mecca is a 1995 graduate of Drexel University where he played varsity lacrosse and earned a B.S. in Business Administration. Mecca’s extensive business career has included service with the Vanguard Group and Progress Financial Resources, a subsidiary of Progress Bank. As an entrepreneur, he founded and operated a professional athlete sports management firm and served three years as the General Manager of the Philadelphia Barrage of Major League Lacrosse. During his tenure, the Barrage became the first team in MLL history to win back-to-back championships (2006 and 2007). In addition to serving Of Counsel to SMB, Mecca is on the staff of Professional Realty Advisors, in Wayne, Pennsylvania, where he negotiates commercial real estate transactions.
Mecca is a graduate of the highly regarded Wyoming Seminary Preparatory School here he serves on the President’s Council and athletic advisory boards. He was a standout football and lacrosse player during his playing career at the school.

Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Mr. Mecca has also served as an Arbitrator in Montgomery County. He is married, has a young son, and resides in the West Chester area.
