Attorney Says Mate Abandoned Duck Boat

An attorney for the families of two Hungarian tourists who died when a barge rammed a Ride the Ducks boat on the Delaware River two summers ago says a video shows a mate jumping from the boat seconds before the crash, according to CBS 3, which has a report and the video.
Philadelphia attorney Robert Mongeluzzi “claims crew members did not take advantage of an 11 minute, 46 second window of opportunity to alert passengers to the impending crash,” the report says, and “most passengers, including the two victims who died, never had a chance to put on life jackets.”
CBS 3 said Ride the Ducks declined to comment.
