At least 10 people hospitalized after an explosion that led to a structural collapse of an apartment building in a suburb of Washington D.C.
An explosion rocked a four-story apartment building this morning in Silver Springs, Maryland, a suburb of Washington D.C. The explosion caused a two-alarm fire that led to a structural collapse of the apartment building. At least three people are critically injured. Several residents of the apartment complex remain unaccounted for since the explosion. Currently, officials believe there are no casualties. At this time, investigators are unaware of what caused the explosion. Over 100 hundred firefighters fought the fire and rescued residents trapped inside the apartment building.
