Lehigh County Man Killed in Excavator Accident

West Penn Township man was killed when the operator rotated the excavator to move a tree, striking him with the tree.

A man has died following an excavator accident in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania early Wednesday morning. The operator of the excavator was attempting to remove fallen trees from a property at the time of the accident. As the operator rotated the excavator to move a tree, another man was struck with the tree. An investigation is pending.
