A six-story apartment building in Davenport, Iowa suffered a catastrophic partial structural collapse on Sunday afternoon, prompting massive rescue efforts.

The portion of the building that remains standing has been deemed dangerously unstable and significant gas and water leaks have been found, complicating rescue efforts.
