U.S. Soccer to investigate Berhalter vs. Reyna family drama

In the latest episode of the podcast “In Soccer We Trust”, associate K. Andrew Heinhold was invited to offer his insight on the intersection of two of his biggest passions, soccer and the law.

For those who haven’t been following, there has been some drama surrounding the US Men’s Soccer Coach and his close friends who are parents of one of his players . The parents of the player disclosed a domestic abuse event that took place between the coach and his wife 31 years ago. Some believe their intention was to have to coach fired.

Andrew was able to join toward the end of the episode and discuss the potential legal ramifications, if any, and debunk some myths of legal avenues for the disclosure of that domestic violence event.
