Record $65 Million Settlement for Data Breach
A $65M settlement was reached with the Lehigh Valley Health Network on behalf of thousands of patients whose Personal Information was exposed during a data breach.
More than 600 patients had their personal medical-record photos posted on the internet.
The settlement is believed to be the largest of its kind, on a per-patient basis, in a healthcare data breach-ransomware case.
