$2,000,000 Settlement on Behalf of a Construction Worker
Saltz Mongeluzzi Bendesky attorneys Adam J. Pantano and Scott A. Fellmeth secured a $2,000,000 settlement on behalf of a construction worker who was injured when he slipped and fell off a roof at a residential construction project in New York.
On the afternoon of the accident, the construction worker was working alone on a building. Despite being required to work at height, the worker was not provided with fall protection. While he was attempting to install windows on the second story roof, the worker slipped and fell on ice and snow, and fell to the ground below.
As a result of his fall, the worker suffered a traumatic brain injury and multiple orthopedic injuries.
The defendants denied liability, Plaintiff’s version of the facts, and claimed that the worker was at fault for the accident.
