SMB Promotes Four Attorneys to Partner for 2023
SMB is pleased to announce the promotion of four attorneys to the firm’s partnership. The new partners are: Marni S. Berger, Michael A. Budner, E. Douglas DiSandro, Jr., and Jason S. Weiss.
Marni S. Berger’s practice focuses on securing recovery for survivors of sexual abuse, civil rights violations, as well as those that have been wrongfully denied insurance coverage. She thinks outside of the box to maximize recovery for the most vulnerable of clients, many of whom are often preyed upon in environments with uneven power dynamics. Whether her clients need representation against a university, medical facility, insurance company, or another individual, she is an extremely dedicated and zealous advocate throughout all phases of litigation.
Michael A. Budner has obtained hundreds of millions of dollars for his clients. Mike’s practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury cases in Pennsylvania and New Jersey that result from construction and other workplace accidents, propane and natural gas explosions, electrical accidents, train accidents, and defective or malfunctioning products. Mike is a fierce advocate who has earned the respect of his colleagues and adversaries, alike, for his relentless pursuit of justice on behalf of each of his clients with the utmost care and compassion.
E. Douglas DiSandro, Jr. has obtained hundreds of millions of dollars in high profile and high stakes cases across the country. Jason S. Weiss is a key component of the firm’s medical malpractice group. Best known for his role as a member of the trial team that in 2017 reached a record-setting $227 million settlement in the Market Street Collapse case, throughout his career Jason has obtained dozens of successful results for clients.
