Robert Mongeluzzi Donates Bruce Springsteen Collection to New Museum
The donation includes more than 100 pieces from a collection he has acquired over the past 30 years.
Robert Mongeluzzi, founder of Saltz Mongeluzzi Bendesky and lifelong Bruce Springsteen fan, has donated a portion of his personal collection of Springsteen memorabilia and photographs to the newly opened Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music.
The donation includes more than 100 pieces from a collection he has acquired over the past 30
years. Bob attended his first Springsteen concert on his 19th birthday in 1975 and has now enjoyed more than 300 concerts around the world, developing a deep appreciation not only for Springsteen’s music, but also for his impact on American culture.
The Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music opened to the public in June 2026 and serves as a museum, archive, and educational center dedicated to preserving Springsteen’s legacy while celebrating the broader story of American music. Located on the campus of Monmouth University, the center features exhibits, archives, interactive experiences, and educational programming.
Until now, Bob’s collection has adorned the walls, conference rooms, and his office on the 52nd floor of One Liberty Place in Philadelphia. “Bruce’s music has been a soundtrack of my life and collecting these items has been a labor of love,” said Bob. “Sharing my collection with the Center means it can be preserved and enjoyed by fans for generations to come.”
The donated items will help expand the center’s growing collection and provide visitors with a closer look at the enduring influence of one of New Jersey’s most iconic artists.
