Explosion Rocks Manayunk Construction Site, 6 Workers Injured in the Blast

On the afternoon of October 4, a massive explosion catastrophically injured 6 workers at a Manayunk construction site on Flat Rock Road. Initial reports indicated that a generator exploded near or inside a work trailer. Emergency responders were on scene , including members of the bomb squad. First responders reported that two workers were immediately taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.
