Around 7 a.m. on July 25, a 31-year-old construction worker was struck and killed in a construction zone along the Atlantic City Expressway in Winslow Township, NJ. According to initial police reports, the driver of an attenuator truck, which is a vehicle equipped with an energy absorbing device designed to protect workers in highway construction zones, backed into the worker and crushed him. Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
