$1,500,000 Settlement Secured on Behalf of an Injured Truck Driver
Attorneys Robert Zimmerman and Jordan Howell secured a $1,500,000 settlement on behalf of a long haul trucker who was injured while unloading large metal racks from his trailer.
Attorneys argued that Defendant failed to properly load the racks on the trailer causing them to roll during unloading. The defendant argued that the contract with Plaintiff’s employer placed the sole responsibility for securing the load on the injured worker. The injured worker was forced to jump 4-6 feet off the trailer to avoid being struck, and suffered a burst fracture at L2 requiring surgery. The case successfully resolved days before jury selection.
