15 Injured in New York Gas Explosion & Building Collapse
A massive gas explosion on Thursday, November 2, ripped through a multi-family building in Wappingers Falls, New York. At least 15 were injured, including 5 first responders. The explosion caused a building collapse, and rescue workers freed victims from the rubble. Initial reports indicate that a gas line caused the explosion during maintenance work, as indicated by officials from gas provider Central Hudson Gas & Electric.
