Is There A Class Action Lawsuit For Camp Lejuene?

We get asked whether the Camp Lejeune litigation is a class action. The Camp Lejeune litigation is not a class action. The litigation will be made up of tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of individual lawsuits.

While this litigation may be referred to as mass tort, a mass tort is very different than a class action. A mass tort just means that there are a number of similarly situated lawsuits that have been filed and that there is some coordination among the claims.

If we pursue a lawsuit on behalf of you or an injured loved one, we will proceed with an individually filed lawsuit and not a class action.
