Three highway workers tragically lost their lives while working on I-83 around 3:30 AM on April 17, 2024. News reports indicate a box truck collided with a construction vehicle in an active work zone at mile marker 35.5 in Fairview Township, PA. The collision with the box truck allegedly caused the construction vehicle to impact the workers killed. An investigation is ongoing.
