$1.5 Million Settlement for a Districted Driving Accident

A 61-year-old Philadelphia woman was awarded a $1.5 million settlement for claims arising from an accident that occurred when she was rear-ended by an SUV driver who was distracted by his phone.

The accident occurred on Rt. 73 in Palmyra, NJ, and caused her to suffer back and head injuries which restricted her ability to work. SMB attorneys Robert Braker and Peter Veloski were able to prove that the SUV driver was on his phone when the accident happened, and that he made no attempt to stop before the crash.
