Larry Bendesky, a Shareholder of the Firm, concentrates his practice on complex civil product liability cases, including those involving the operation of elevators, motor vehicles, motorcycles, power tools, and a wide array of equipment used in industry and manufacturing. In addition, he handles litigation involving catastrophic construction accidents.

Mr. Bendesky is a member of Super Lawyers of Pennsylvania, a peer-selected group of practitioners from around the Commonwealth. Elected for 2004, 2005, and 2006, he is considered among the state's premier product liability attorneys.

He is an Honors graduate of Pennsylvania State University (1984), and holds a J.D. from the Delaware Law School of Widener University (1987), and is a graduate of the LLM program at Temple University School of Law. Upon graduation from that program, exclusively for lawyers, he was the recipient of the Faculty Award as the outstanding student in his class. His association with the Temple LLM program continues as an Adjunct Professor of Law. In addition, he is a member of the Temple American Inn of Court, serving as Co-Administrator and a Team Leader for the organization comprised of practicing attorneys and judges.

At the trial level, Mr. Bendesky has been lead or co-counsel in numerous high-profile, highly complex cases resulting in verdicts or settlements over $1 million. He serves as a member of the SMBB team in the Tropicana Casino structural collapse litigation.

His significant experience in appellate law is rooted in a legal clerkship (including serving as Chief Clerk) following law school to the Honorable James R. Melinson of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. His admissions include the State Courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, and Philadelphia Bar Association, and is also a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He serves on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. Dedicated to upholding the highest standards of professional practice, Mr. Bendesky served as Hearing Committee Chairman of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

A strong advocate for continuing professional education, Mr. Bendesky is frequently called upon to lecture before groups on the latest developments in product liability and construction litigation.
