John E. Savoth is Of

Mr. Savoth is a 1981 graduate of Dickinson College and received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1985. Thereafter he served a two year clerkship with the Late Honorable James T. McDermott of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Savoth has attained multiple verdicts and settlements in excess of $1,000,000 on behalf of his clients in both state and federal court, including a $7,000,000 verdict in an FELA case in Philadelphia County and $1,000,000 verdict in a Dram Shop/Motor Vehicle case in Monroe County.
In addition to his substantial practice, Mr. Savoth has held numerous leadership positions in various professional organizations. He is past Chair of the Board of Governors and Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association, where he currently holds the position of Vice Chancellor and will serve as Chancellor of the Association in 2012. He currently serves as a member of the House of Delegates of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He has lectured extensively in the areas of trial practice and the Rules of Professional Conduct. Mr. Savoth is a frequent speaker on behalf of the Philadelphia Bar Association at the Federal Court Naturalization/Citizenship Ceremonies. He has sat for many years as a member of the Philadelphia Bar Associations' Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention. He served as a Chair of Hearing Committee 1.10 for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. In addition to the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, Mr. Savoth is a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and Law Pac contributor. He is licensed to practice in both the State and Federal Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
