Keith Mecca, Of Counsel to SMBB, brings to the Firm and its clients a richly diverse background in numerous areas of the law and victim's rights, personal financial services, and professional sports management.
On behalf of SMBB clients, Mr. Mecca handles a wide array of complex cases, among those matters involving catastrophic, workplace-related accidents. Mr. Mecca, a 2001 graduate of Villanova University School of Law (he served as an assistant coach to the lacrosse team while in law school), prior to entering private practice served internships in the District Attorney's Office of Montgomery County and in the chambers of Vincent A. Cirillo, former President Judge of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
A 1995 graduate of Drexel University (where he played varsity lacrosse), Mr. Mecca's extensive business career has included service with the Vanguard Group and Progress Financial Resources, a subsidiary of Progress Bank. As an entrepreneur, he founded and operated a professional athlete sports management firm and served two years as the General Manager of the Philadelphia Barrage Major League Lacrosse team. During his tenure, the Barrage became the first team in MLL history to win back to back championships, the Steinfield Cup (2006 and 2007).
A native of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Mr. Mecca extends the Firm's reach into Northeastern Pennsylvania, including Lackawanna and Luzerne counties. He is a graduate of the highly-regarded Wyoming Seminary Preparatory School where he serves on the President's Council and athletic advisory boards.
In addition to serving Of Counsel to SMBB, Mr. Mecca is on the staff of Professional Realty Advisors, in Wayne, Pennsylvania, where he negotiates commercial real estate transactions.
Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Mr. Mecca has also served as an Arbitrator in Montgomery County. He is married, has a young son, and resides in the West Chester area.
