On Eve of First Anniversary of Lululemon Store Roof Collapse, Victim And Her Attorneys Hold News Conference.

Results of Firm’s investigation to be disclosed at Saltz Mongeluzzi.

Philadelphia, PA -(January 25, 2016) – On the eve of the one-year anniversary of the sudden Center City building collapse that injured Lululemon Athletica store shoppers, Allison Freidman, the most seriously injured victim, will join her attorneys as they announce the findings of the firm’s extensive investigation and next steps on behalf of the seriously injured 28-year-old special education teacher. She will have major spinal fusion surgery the next day, ironically on the one-year anniversary of the collapse; and remain hospitalized at least through her birthday on Friday. This will be the first news conference focusing on Ms. Friedman’s account and the accident’s cause and legal consequences.

Trial lawyers Robert J. Mongeluzzi and Jeffrey P. Goodman, of Saltz, Mongeluzzi & Bendesky, P.C., represent the young woman who on January 27, 2015 was shopping for a gift for a friend in the store (?1527 Walnut St.) when she was crushed by parts of the store’s caved roof and other falling debris from the adjoining office building at 1529 Walnut St. Ms. Friedman, dazed and temporarily covered in the collapse rubble until her evacuation by emergency services, has asked SMB to hold all those responsible for the accident, as well as her continuing pain and suffering, fully accountable. Mr. Mongeluzzi is a national authority on construction and demolition professional standards of care.
